At the beginning of the season, the NDT Scouting staff voted on their respective top prospects at each position, forming the 2018 Preseason All-Draft Eligible team.
Midway through the 2017 season, our staff has revisited the All-Draft Eligible team with a fresh eye. Blending our preseason expectations with players’ on field resumes through the first six weeks, NDT Scouting again recognizes the best and brightest in college football.
This team is not necessarily meant to identify consensus top players; rather consider this list a recognition of the players who have met or raised expectations for themselves so far this year.

- Florida State Safety Derwin James
- Alabama Defensive Back Minkah Fitzpatrick
- Oklahoma Offensive Tackle Orlando Brown Jr.
- Notre Dame Offensive Guard Quenton Nelson

Barkley, Nelson and Brown were three of the five unanimous nominees from the NDT Scouting staff, joined by Arkansas Center Frank Ragnow and North Carolina State Defensive End Bradley Chubb.
