After a torn ACL in 2014 and a hip injury that caused him to miss six games in 2015, we finally a glimpse of what Carl Lawson can do after a completely healthy campaign in 2016. Lawson has the tools to become and impact pass rusher that can also stop the run. Provided Lawson remains healthy, he has the potential to start early in his NFL career and contribute on every down.
Pass rushers are at a premium in the NFL and Lawson has an exciting tool box. So much so that he is one of the 23 players to grade as a first round value for me in this class.
The following Carl Lawson NFL Draft report is a sample from Joe Marino’s 2017 NFL Draft Scouting Portfolio. The Portfolio consists of 300 prospect reports and is available with an NDT Scouting Premium Subscription.
