The NFL Draft has come and gone and with it, the opportunity to discuss full draft classes and the state of the league. Director of Scouting Kyle Crabbs joined the Craig and Gentry show on ESPN 99.3 (SW Florida) to talk about some of the predominant story lines from the 2017 NFL Draft and the status of the Miami Dolphins.
Kyle spoke with Craig and Gentry to discuss the Bears’ decision to select Mitch Trubisky, how Joe Mixon’s transition to the NFL will progress and the state of the AFC East in addition to the Miami Dolphins centered show.
Relating to Miami, Kyle went in depth with the selections made on draft weekend, what the expectations should be for the rookie class and what the difference will need to be for the Dolphins’ defense to take the next step in 2017. Miami’s draft class included defensive linemen Charles Harris, Vincent Taylor and Davon Godchaux, linebacker Raekwon McMillain and cornerback Cordrea Tankersley.
Kyle also spoke on the offense in Miami and whether or not Ryan Tannehill is a quarterback that the Dolphins can center their offense around and win with consistency.
